"What a Wonderful World" is a 1967 song written by Bob Thiele and George David Weiss, and first recorded by American trumpeter and singer Louis Armstrong. It became one of Armstrong’s most iconic recordings.[1]scope: entire paragraph
Angelina first sang the song live at a Nobel Peace Prize event in December 2014 at the Redd Barnas Fredsprisfest [Save the Children Peace Prize Party]. She peformed it at various concerts in 2015 and 2017. In 2024 she recorded a studio cover with Toby Gad.
Original recording
Louis Armstrong's original recording was also used in the 1988 movie Good Morning, Vietnam↗, which led to it charting in various countries that year.[1]
